Software Test Engineer for MATLAB in Cloud

Job Summary

Join our team of Software Test Engineers to drive the quality of MathWorks products that allow engineers and scientists world-wide to perform scientific computing in the cloud. Participate in integrating MATLAB with various cloud platforms from early planning and design stages through final release and deployment, working closely within the cross-functional team. We look for team players with an eye for detail, strong communication skills and a commitment to getting things done.  

Responsibilities

  • Create test strategies for new MATLAB cloud integrations
  • Design and build automated tests 
  • Develop and evolve automated testing infrastructure (tools, frameworks, CI) 
  • Review designs and code  

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.

Additional Qualifications

  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or related area 
  • Experience with an object-oriented programming language is recommended
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Python or JavaScript is a plus 
  • Some familiarity with cloud technologies is preferable
  • Test automation experience is a plus
