We are seeking a motivated and talented software engineer to enhance the core compiler technology that enables automatic code generation from MATLAB. As part of the product development team, you will be responsible for developing compiler infrastructure and optimizations to automatically generate efficient code for large-scale embedded systems, FPGAs and GPUs. The automatically generated code from MathWorks can be found in advanced robotic systems, automotive and aircraft engines, lifesaving medical equipment etc., An ideal candidate for this position must have a passion for solving challenging parallel computing problems involving compiler technologies and should love coding.
As a lead engineer, you will work closely with our existing engineers to guide new product features from conception to production in our shipping software. You need to demonstrate the ability to tease apart complex problems, quickly iterate through possible implementations, and work together with multiple teams to identify shippable solutions.
You will drive the creation of innovative algorithms and their integration into our code generation environment to improve the efficiency of the generated code. You are expected to participate in all aspects of software development with enthusiasm: collecting requirements, writing specifications, coding, testing and supporting customers. Your role will require you to quickly master numerous features in Simulink products and delve into a large code base.
