Deep Technical Engagement Engineer - Data Analysis

Job Summary

The growth of Model-Based Design and automatic code generation has created demand for support of complex production deployments of Image Processing, Computer Vision, Data Analytics and Deep Learning as well as MATLAB, Simulink, Embedded Coder and HDL Coder. In this role you will help our customers use MATLAB and associated tools to organize and clean their data, analyze and visualize it, create predictive classification and regression models, and build and deploy applications.  Application focus areas include predictive maintenance, process control, data analysis, and time series forecasting – for the oil & gas, power, electronics, and biomedical industries, among others.  Project work may also involve computer vision, signal processing, optimization, system simulation, and/or deep learning.

Responsibilities

Developing data analytics and artificial intelligence algorithms in MATLAB

Integrating MATLAB with structured and unstructured databases (eg. Hadoop and Spark)

Deploying applications developed in MATLAB to an enterprise-wide system (eg. using MPS)

Work directly with select customers to establish project road maps and technical procedures.

Work closely with sales teams and other customer facing staff focused on a fast paced and continually evolving strategy.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 5 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree) is required.
