EMEA Central Events Process Project Manager

Job Summary

 We are seeking an EMEA Central Events Process Project Manager to join our MathWorks EMEA Marketing team.

The EMEA Central Events Process Project Manager partners with Sales, Technical Pre-Sales and Marketing teams across EMEA to support our event centralization approach for EMEA. This includes developing, planning, and execution process documentation of outbound marketing events (seminars, workshops, smaller/midsize trade shows) with a central coordination approach.

A key component of this role is to interact with cross-functional international teams and collaborate daily with different departments to drive the central event coordination.

This role regularly collaborates with Database Marketing, Email Marketing, Creative Services, and Application Engineers, and external vendors to support events.

Responsibilities

The EMEA Central Events Process Project Manager is a strong project manager with the ability to juggle multiple projects, priorities and deadlines with a collaborative approach.

The EMEA Central Events Process Project Manager produces and deploys events from the initial kickoff through to the post-event activities, establishing and driving timelines and due dates for the internal event teams.

This also includes logistical, fulfillment, and promotional support and overall process improvement.

The EMEA Central Events Process Project Manager is an excellent communicator, has proven expertise in project management, and a process improvement mindset.

This role is responsible for:

  • Coordinating the production and deployment of various event types that drive the growth of the business, specifically trade shows, and seminars.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders, evaluate and standardize marketing program processes to support the efficient development and standardized measurement of demand-generation campaigns; design, implement, and document campaign processes.
  • Centralization of EMEA seminars, workshops, and small trade shows including:
    • Implementing a streamlined process for an event in EMEA
    • Collaborating with Creative Services and Mkt Ops for event deliverables
    • Centralizing project reporting and analysis

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree) is required.
  • Experience in a Marketing Communications or Marketing Operations/Demand Center environment
  • Strong project management skills
  • Working experience on a EMEA level a plus
  • Working knowledge of project/task management tools; such as Workfront or similar
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to work within tight timeframes and on multiple projects
  • Experience of centralization projects at an EMEA level.
  • Fluency in a second language is a ‘nice to have’ with French being the preferred language.
