Create Courses Using MATLAB Course Designer
Use MATLAB® Course Designer™ to create your own self-paced online courses, similar to MATLAB Onramp. Add learning activities such as text, videos, and interactive MATLAB exercises to your course. Then you can assign your course to learners from your learning management system (LMS) and track their progress in the same way you would with courses authored by MathWorks®.

Create Course
Access MATLAB Course Designer at course-designer.mathworks.com or through your LMS.
In your LMS, go to MATLAB and Simulink® Online™ Courses. For information on how to integrate MATLAB and Simulink Online Courses with your LMS, see Integrate MATLAB and Simulink Online Courses with Learning Management System (LMS).
Open MATLAB Course Designer by clicking Launch Course Designer.
To create a new course, select Create Course.

Each course is made up of one or more course modules. A module is a collection of learning activities. To add a module, click Add Module. You can add these learning activities to a course module by clicking Add Learning Activity:
MATLAB Exercise — Create an interactive coding exercise for learners. Add written instructions, a solution template, a reference solution, and tests to compare the learner solution to the reference solution. For an example of how to create a MATLAB exercise, see Create MATLAB Exercise Using MATLAB Course Designer. For more information about tests, see MATLAB Exercise Assessment Tests in MATLAB Course Designer.
Simulink Exercise — Create an interactive modeling exercise for learners. Add written instructions, a starting model, a solution, and tests to compare the learner solution to your solution. For an example of how to create a Simulink exercise, see Create Simulink Exercise Using MATLAB Course Designer. For more information about tests, see Simulink Exercise Assessment Tests in MATLAB Course Designer.
Video — Include a video by providing a YouTube® or VIMEO® URL. Refer to the video hosting service provider for instructions for generating a shareable video URL.
Reading — Provide written information to your learners, including plain text, images, and equations.
Assign Course
When your course is ready, click Publish. You can then assign your course to learners from your LMS.
