Unit Tests

The folder Unit Tests contains tests that the dashboard considers as unit tests. A unit test directly tests either the entire unit model or the model subsystems. The dashboard uses these tests in the metrics for the unit.

Create tests by using Simulink^® Test™. If a test does not trace to a unit, it appears in the Trace Issues folder. If a test does not appear in the Artifacts panel or you do not see metric results when you expect to, see Resolve Missing Artifacts, Links, and Results.

To see how artifacts trace to units and components in your design, click Trace View in the toolstrip. In the View section of the toolstrip, click Tests and Results to view the test cases and test results that trace to the unit or component selected in the Project panel.
