Convert a GUI into a .exe,but it is very big!

I have convert a GUI into a.exe,through mcc -e a.m,but the generated files a.exe and mccExcludedFiles.log are very big(more than 100M), and the starting time is also very long.Indeed the code is not very so complex! So how should I do to solve it? Thanks very much!

Have you tried use deploytool?

Oh... that's strange. I always use deploytool (ML 2012b and win7) and never had such issues.

Are you using other functions that are very big, or have embedded the Matlab Component Runtime? Try

depfun('a.m')

to see all your dependencies.
