how to update Matlab concurrent licenses and Matlab license manager ?

Hi,

I'm trying to understand how to Update Matlab concurrent licenses and Matlab license manager for one of my client, if I understand well all the steps I have first to update the licence file, and after to update Matlab License Manager I have to uninstall it and install the new version ? if yes I don't understand why I update the licence file first as i have to install in Matlabl Update, (client is unable to answer me on this point).

SO for my client the 2 actions needed are Update Matlab concurrent licenses and Matlab license manager

could you provide me the way to do this ? other question what is the best way to ensure a fully backup of Matlab before proceeding in these updates ?
