Terminal works but cant use scripts or functions

I cant use scripts or functions in matlab2022b using fedora 37.

Previously I've fixed this with "sudo dnf install cairo-1.17.4 --releasever=35" but since I upgraded from fedora 36 to 37 this does not work anymore. How can I fix this?

I'm not that good with Linux. I've tried changing some preferences in Matlab but still .. whenever I try to open a script or function I've written I get the pop-up with with heading

"MATLAB Live Editor" and the message

"Unable to open this file in the current system configuration. For more information, see Requirements."

and the "OK" button.

I suspect that there are some library issues that are not installed, as the link says. I just can't find the right library for my linux distribution. Any suggestions?
