Can I download and use MCR (version 8.1) when I have MATLAB R2021b installed on my computer?

I am trying to run a software (LIBRA) that requires MCR version 8.1. This version appears to be compatible with R2013a but I have R2021b installed on my computer. Will there be an issue if I try to download MCR version 8.1? Do I need to uninstall R2021b and install R2013a on my computer?

I don't know anything abou Libra and MCR versions. However, it is possible to have multiple versions of MATLAB installed on your computer at the stame time (i.e. you don't have to uninstalle R2021b to install R2013a). I currently have R2014b, R2018a, R2020b, R2022b, and R2023a installed on my laptop.

Note: Old MCR are not guaranteed to be compatible with current operating systems. For example a version that old might not run on current MacOS
