How can I get the points of the Scope block while the simulation is running?

I have a simulink model running in External mode (using the Real-Time Windows Target). And I would like to obtain the points the Scope block shows (for example in a variable) at the same time; I mean: no waiting until the simulation ends and create the ScopeData variable in the Workspace.

You can execute the following MATLAB Command to update the scope data variables in the Workspace while Simulink is running. Note the data will not "stream" into the Workspace variable, but it will be updated every time the command is run.

set_param(bdroot,'SimulationCommand','WriteDataLogs');
