Hello, I am trying to compare recordings of a piano I have. I wish to do an FFT of a .wav file to generate plots of the frequency response but have no idea how to do so. Can anybody help?

http://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/ref/audioread.html and fft()
However, you probably do not care about the long-term frequency of the sounds; you probably want to do short-time fourier transform; for that see http://www.mathworks.com/help/signal/ref/spectrogram.html
