Dear,
I wrote a code in matlab and run it from my desktop core2 and I want to compare the time with a code has written in C on HP Compaq with frequency 2GHz and a RAM of 2 GB. which I have no idea what is them. can any one explain it to me please.

See the MATLAB function "timeit". If you are using an old enough MATLAB version you might need to get timeit from the File Exchange.

thanks for replying, I checked, I have timeit function. could you explain to me more, what is this mean ( HP Compaq with frequency 2GHz and a RAM of 2 GB) ? is mentioned in a paper that I want to compare my work with them. could you please advice me how to compare ?
