Error c10_observ​er_realtim​e_2014a_mf​tyr.c: 22698 insufficient memory

I'm trying to run a simulation in Matlab 2014a that should run realtime on certain hardware. I encounter the following error while running the simulation.

Error c10_observer_realtime_2014a_mftyr.c: 22698 insufficient memory

Here i'm currently not yet building the model for implementation, but rather a simulation to check if the behaviour of the model is as expected. I do not encounter these problems when building on a 2015b Matlab, but due to licensing issues i'm restricted to build the model for implementation on a 2014a matlab. Is there any way to solve this issue?
