Last August, Matt asked " I've been looking through the property inspector in GUIDE to change the colour of some buttons, the default is 2 shades of grey that make it look like a button, but changing this in property inspector gives no option to make something similar and changing the colour makes a uniform colour button which looks uninteresting. I'm looking for a way to replace the background with a graphic (I still need the button to say something) or to add something similar to standard with a different colour." http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/300714-changing-the-appearance-of-buttons-in-guide
David Barry answered partly (the more difficult latter part of the question, I think!), how to put a totally new image into the button with a link to another page. How about just changing a regular button's color?
A button in GUIDE, in 2 shades of gray, looks three-dimensional, and it changes to 2 shades of blue when you hover over it! Very nice -- but! Is there a way to alter the original and hover colors? That would be VERY nice!!!!
Thanks
Doug
