MATLAB 2015b Font Issue when exporting as EPS

When saving a plot (with Latex interpreter on the x/y-labels) with the command
saveas(fig,'test','epsc');
opening the EPS file results in the following error: ''CMR10 not found, using Courier''. This never happened to me with old MATLAB R2012. How can I solve this problem?
P.S. OS X Yosemite, v.10.10.5.
