Of course. MATLAB does not restrict how many times you can call a function, so whatever problems you are having is likely to depend on your algorithm, which you have told us nothing about.

No, that is not true for all code.

There are programs for which the intent is to have the program act in unpredictable ways, so having the program randomly "clear" or not "clear" might be a Feature for that particular program.

Would you deliberately leave an outdoor water fawcet dripping? Maybe not normally, but you just might be studying rust rates.

Using "clear all" in a program should be considered in the same category as leaving in a deliberate bug because you want the program to act unpredicatably.

So, I have actually passed my signal over an AWGN channel and I want to record the power of the signal upon every iteration. When I do that for 100 or 2000, it works fine. But beyond 2000, it doesn't generate the number I desire. Here is the matab code.

I ran this code in a different .m script.

I don't know why it couldn't run more than 2000 times if it can run a 100 or a 1000 or 2000.

Your "clear" is probably interfering.

You should restructure and correct your code. Perhaps the two attached files.
