LifeCam Webcams Crashing in Matlab 2016a after windows update

Hi everyone
Im having a serious problem trying to use my Microsoft LifeCam Webcams through MATLAB 2016a, the system can detect the connected cameras ('webcamlist') but it crashes after trying to create the 'webcam' object. Also: logitech cameras work ok... but not the microsoft ones... any suggestion of what could I do????
