How to convert a column vector into an image

Hello sir

I have an vector of size (258x1). Now I want to convert it into a square matrix (101x101) i.e. in 2D image in matlab.

Please help me.

How would you expect that to happen even theoretically, let alone in Matlab code? A 101x101 2d image requires 10,201 pixel values. You have 258.

You can do anything, but there should be some logic (mathematical);

As you said

A=rand(258,1);
result=imresize(A,[101 101]); %As reshape doesnot allow to change number of elements.

Actually in vector each element has location i.e. (x,y) coordinates. If we place the element's coordinates in a 101x101 zero matrix then we will get a square matrix.

What data type is the vector, such that it has two values per entry ?

if A=[1;2;3;6;4;8;9] and coordinates are C=[3 4;1 2;5 6;4 5;5 3;1 6;6 6] so if a matrix is B=zeros(6, 6) then how can I replace each elements of A vector with B matrix using the coordinates points

Or

nrow = 6; ncol = 6;
B = accumarray(C, A(:), [nrow ncol]);
