How can I migrate Polyspace Web Metrics results data to a new Server?

2 visualizaciones (últimos 30 días)
We are running a metrics server for Polyspace Bugfinder/Codeprover on an old machine and this metrics server must run on a new machine in the future.
I have already installed the metrics server on the new machine according to the instructions. It now runs parallel to the old one.
Can the files be moved from the old server to the new computer (same path, same directory) so that everything is available again?
If not, how else can I handle the migration?

If there are no new results on the new Metrics Server yet, this should work quite simply by copy and paste. Otherwise, data could be lost.
(So if there are already data/new results on the new Metrics Server, please contact Technical Support for instructions, there might be a workaround to solve this anyway.)
So if the new server does not yet contain and new data/results, the procedure is as follows:
1) Stop the new Web Metrics - polyspaced.exe (stopping the old Web Metrics would be optional.)
2) copy and paste the old results (results-repository folder with all content, like results-repository.db and all folders, etc.) from the old _datadir _to the new _datadir _
(under Linux this usually is_ local/polyspace_, under Windows this usually is datadir=C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Polyspace_RLDatas). The exact location is given in your polyspace.conf file.
3) Restarting the new Web Metrics
