isnt the test suite with sq= rand and ci = rand a faulty one ?
and the last test suite, whats with the numbers 3>7? why isnt it variable testing ?

No, that test suite is fine, since he uses those random values to calculate y_correct.
Also, for that other test with 3>7, he's using that to create a false logical value for y_correct.
