An Inverted Pendulum is a classic textbook example, that teaches control engineers on how to design a controller, on the importance of the Plant modeling, and the different aspects of the design.
In the following example, I show how you can use different control tools in order to design a controller, test against the non-linear plant, and perform simulations and optimizations.
