In this submission, a nonlinear dynamic model for a ship is presented. Data is collected for a ship maneuver and system identification is performed using Matlab® System Identification Toolbox.
Run Chapter_4_Section_3.m in Section_3 folder to simulate the ship and perform system identification.
It will also plot the results of the system identification.
Run Chapter_4_Section_4_Script.m in Section_4 folder to obtain the solution for the exercise provided in the book. It generates another simulation for the ship and compute the discrete steady state model of the ship.
