Spectrum Sensing

Engineers building spectrum sensing systems must reliably detect and characterize signals despite low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) conditions, unknown environments, congested spectrum, and tight latency requirements. Meeting these demands requires a comprehensive workflow for developing, testing, and deploying spectrum sensing algorithms. With MATLAB and Simulink, you can:

  • Generate radar and communications waveforms and model and simulate the RF propagation
  • Develop algorithms using signal processing methods and AI models
  • Test and validate algorithms with hardware, including software-defined radios (SDRs), to transmit and receive over-the-air signals
  • Generate C/C++, CUDA®, and HDL code to deploy spectrum sensing algorithms on embedded systems and edge devices
