Overview
In this webinar, discover how MathWorks tools and Infineon’s AURIX™ TC4x microcontroller enable the integration of On-Board Charger (OBC) and High Voltage–Low Voltage (HV-LV) DC-DC converter control into a single MCU. Learn how model-based design (MBD) with Simulink and Embedded Coder, combined with Embedded Coder Hardware Support Package (HSP) for Infineon AURIX™ TC4x Microcontrollers, facilitates rapid prototyping, efficient code generation, and real-time control of complex power electronics systems.
We’ll walk through the modeling and deployment of control algorithms for three key power stages-PFC, CLLC, and DAB using one TriCore™ and one Parallel Processing Unit (PPU). The session will also showcase hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) testing.
Key Takeaways
- Learn how to use Simulink and AURIX™ TC4x HSP to model and generate code for AURIX™ TC4x MCUs
- Gain insights into multicore modeling for heterogeneous architecture of TC4x for OBC and HV-LV DC-DC converters
- Explore optimization techniques for real-time control and code efficiency
- See how HiL testing validates system performance
- Discover how a single MCU can replace multiple controllers, reducing cost and complexity
