Generate AUTOSAR Adaptive XML files for specified schema version

Starting in R2024b, schema versions R19-03 (00047) and R18-10 (00046) are no longer supported.

Description

Select the AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform schema version to use when generating XML files.

Dependencies

To enable this parameter, set the SystemTargetFile parameter to autosar_adaptive.tlc.

• R22-11 (00051) — Use schema release R22-11 (Version 00051)

• R21-11 (00050) — Use schema release R21-11 (Version 00050)

• R20-11 (00049) — Use schema release R20-11 (Version 00049)

• R19-11 (00048) — Use schema release R19-11 (Version 00048)

Tips

• Selecting the AUTOSAR adaptive target for your model for the first time sets the schema version parameter to the default value R22-11 (00051).

• When you import ARXML code into Simulink^®, the ARXML importer detects the schema version and sets the schema version parameter in the model.

• All models in a model hierarchy must specify the same value for this parameter.

• To configure other AUTOSAR options, use the AUTOSAR code perspective. From the Apps tab, open the AUTOSAR Component Designer app.

R2024b: Removed

R2024a: Use schema version R22-11 with AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform

R2024a extends support of the AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform to include release R22-11. AUTOSAR Blockset supports schema version R22-11 for import and export of ARXML files and generation of AUTOSAR-compliant C code.

If you import schema R22-11 files into Simulink, the ARXML importer detects and uses the schema version and set the schema version of the parameter in the model. If you create an AUTOSAR model in Simulink, the default schema is R22-11.

R2024a: Warns

Schema versions R19-03 (version 00047) and R18-10 (00046) will no longer be supported for the AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform in a future release. Starting in R2024a the software will warn if schema versions R19-03 (version 00047) or R18-10 (00046) are selected.

R2022b: Use schema version R20-11 with AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform

R2022b extends support of the AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform to include release R20-11. AUTOSAR Blockset supports schema version R20-11 for import and export of ARXML files and generation of AUTOSAR-compliant C code.

If you import schema R20-11 ARXML files into Simulink the ARXML importer detects and uses the schema version and sets the schema version parameter in the model. If you create and AUTOSAR model in Simulink, the default schema version is R20-11.

R2022b: Command-line argument value is in AUTOSAR platform release format

Starting in R2022b, when you use a function call to access the AutosarSchemaVersion parameter, its Value is now in the format of the AUTOSAR platform release 'Ryy-mm'. For example, 'R20-11', 'R19-11', 'R19-03', and 'R18-10'.

Previously the Value was in the form of the AUTOSAR schema version '000xx'.
