Import CAD and Robot Models

Export non-VRML models from CAD (computer-aided design) tools (including CATIA) and robot visual representations (URDF files) to use with Simulink^® 3D Animation™

You can import a model developed using a CAD or 3D modeling tool into a Simulink 3D Animation virtual world. You can import CAD models from STL, FBX, VRML files, and CATIA^® software.

You can import visual representations of robots from URDF, STL, SDF, and Collada DAE files.
