mountingPose
R2026bSyntax
Description
returns a table containing the mounting poses of all sensors in
poseTable = mountingPose(multiSensorObj)multiSensorObj.
[
returns the mounting orientations and locations for the sensor or sensors in
mountingAngles,mountingLocation] = mountingPose(multiSensorObj,name)multiSensorObj specified by name.
Examples
Load a multi-sensor parameters object that contains six cameras and two lidar sensors.
multiSensorObj = load("multiSensorObjPandaSet.mat").multiSensorObjmultiSensorObj =
multiSensorParameters with properties:
ReferenceFrame: "vehicle"
Count: 8
Sensors: [8×6 table]

Get the transformation from the front camera to the front lidar sensor.
tform = transformation(multiSensorObj,"front_camera","front_gt");
Get the camera intrinsic parameters of the front camera.
camIntrinsicsFront = intrinsics(multiSensorObj,"front_camera");Get the mounting angles and mounting location of the front camera.
[mountingAngles,mountingLocation] = mountingPose(multiSensorObj,"front_camera");Input Arguments
Multi-sensor parameters object to get mounting poses from, specified as a multiSensorParameters
object.
Name of the sensor, specified as a string scalar, character vector, M-element string array, or an M cell array of character vectors.
Output Arguments
Mounting poses of all the sensors, returned as a table. The table contains the name,
mounting angles, and mounting locations of all sensors in
multiSensorObj.
Mounting orientation angles of the sensor, returned as a three-element vector or an M-by-3 matrix in which each row is of the form [yaw pitch roll], with respect to the reference frame coordinate system. The yaw, pitch, and roll are positive rotations about the z-axis, intermediate y-axis, and intermediate x-axis of the reference frame, respectively. Units are in degrees.
Mounting location of the sensor, returned as a three-element vector or an M-by-3 matrix in which each row is of the form [x y z], expressed in the reference frame, in meters.
