Mex function giving error "llvm-gcc-4.2: command not found"

I am using Mac OsX 10.9, Matlab 2013b and I have Xcode 5 installed on my computer. Whenever I try to compile some C code I get the error "llvm-gcc-4.2: command not found" I have installed Xcode command line tools.
