National Instruments Data Acquisition Software Error Status Code: -89136

Hi guys,

This question was asked before but without any answer, so I wanted to reopen it and I am looking forward any tip:

I just connected NI PXIe-1073 chassis with integrated module NI PXIe-6361. I installed the NI-DAQmx 9.8 driver and I am using MatLab R2013b (8.2.0.701) with DAQ Toolbox Version 3.4.

In the NI MAX (Measurement & Automation Explorer) the modules are recognised after connection and the self-test options runs with success result.

From MatLab I wanted to try the demo for Getting Started with Session-Based Interface Using NI Devices:

Matlab recognises the devices, it creates a session, but once the call s.startForeground() it throws the following error:

NI Error -89136:
Specified route cannot be satisfied, because the hardware does not support it.
Property: DAQmx_RefClk_Src
Requested Value: /PXI1Slot2/PXI_CLK10
Task Name: _unnamedTask<158>
Status Code: -89136

If I checked in the connections of the created session, they are empty. On the NI MAX site I checked the Device Routes map and the /PXI1Slot2/PXI_CLK10 is marked with yellow colour, meaning an indirect route. I have no idea how to approach the problem so any hint and clue will be highly appreciated!
