Hi all,
I'm trying to detect when the position of the cursor in an editbox changes. This is the current code I'm using in the figure's opening function:
jEdit=findjobj(myEditbox);
set(jEdit, 'CaretPositionChangedCallback', @myCallback);
But for some reason it doesn't work. Other callbacks such as InputMethodtextChangedCallback works fine, but that's not what I need.
Does anyone know how to fix it?
Thanks a lot!
Niko

I saw a couple of Java-only posts that indicated that they had the same problem with this event. The solution was to use a document listener which may not be applicable here for this undocumented (and so unsupported) MATLAB callback.
Out of curiosity, what are you trying to accomplish by using this event? Perhaps there is an alternative?
