Issue in undefined function in conversion with 2016a version

Hi, I am facing a problem in conversion of RGB to gray scale image using rgb2gray function in the script. It shows that the function is not defined... When I use this is the command window, it works .. but while using that function in the script or the matlab, it doesn't work... Can you help me out at this ???
