Prepruning and postpruning regression tree

Hey!

In the literature about decision trees they talk about pre-&post pruning. I was wondering if pre pruning could be compared to "control leaf depth" and "pruning" to post pruning in the example from the statistics toolbox documentation below: http://www.mathworks.co.uk/help/stats/classification-trees-and-regression-trees.html#bsw6a96
