Find several zeros with unknown starting points

Hi to everybody,

I've to search for several zeros of a transcendental function, composite of many parts containing Bessel function and its derivative. The problem is that it's not possible to previously know where the zeros will be around and thus where to start the search with the fzero function.

any suggestion? How could I proceed?

Does this need to be done numerically, or could it be approached symbolically ? I suspect that in general it cannot be done numerically.

Do you have the symbolic toolbox?
