cannot add path on mac

why I get this error ??

>> addpath '/Users/maherheal/Applications/CPLEX_Studio128/cplex/matlab'

Cplex studio is installed. I cannot even add the Applications folder in addpath

Maybe in mac, this way works:

addpath(genpath('/Users/maherheal/Applications/CPLEX_Studio128/cplex/matlab'))

I notice the posting https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/6291-call-cplex-from-matlab#answer_666597 in which @Khyathi Mishra indicated,

"You must have IBM CPLEX OPTIMIZATION STUDIO 12.10 version

the versions released after that doesnt have files related to interfacing matlab with cplex."

(I myself do not know whether IBM dropped support after that, or if support was added back in later versions.)
