Does Redis ship with MATLAB?

I have 3 questions:

1. Does Redis/Redis CLI come shipped with MATLAB?
2. If so, are there plans to continue having Redis ship with MATLAB?
3. What versions of Redis are used with MATLAB from R2018a to R2022b?

1. Redis does not ship with base MATLAB. However, it does ship with MATLAB Compiler SDK:

It is intended for use with MATLAB Production Server:

2. At the moment, Redis will continue to be embedded with MATLAB Compiler SDK, but not base MATLAB. 

3. The versions R2018b-R2020a of MATLAB Compiler SDK ship Redis server version 3.0.5 on Windows (and 3.2.8 on Linux). R2022a was upgraded to use Redis version 6.2.6 on Linux. R2022b will extend Redis version 6.2.6 to Windows over WSL.
