No Hyperspectral Viewer app icon

After I successfully Installed Image Processing Toolbox Hyperspectral Imaging Library (version 20.1.1), I restarted my computer and Matlab software, there is no Hyperspectral Viewer App Icon in MATLAB® Toolstrip: On the Apps tab, under Image Processing and Computer Vision, or anaywhere in Apps tab, but I can call and run Hyperspectral Viewer app though MATLAB command prompt: Enter hyperspectralViewer. How can I add Hyperspectral Viewer app icon in Apps tab?

I could not reproduce the stated issue using MATLAB R2022a on Windows 11. However, as a potential a workaround, try installing hyperspectral imaging library from this link. After the installation, click on APPS from tool strip. Click on dropdown arrow and search for hyperspectral, it will show the “Hyperspectral Viewer” app icon under “Image Processing and Computer Vision”. Click the “Hyperspectral Viewer” app icon to launch the App. Alternatively, type “hyperspectralViewer” in the command prompt and hit enter to launch the app.
