SuperPro to Excel Matlab script

Just a question.

I was thinking if there is a way to connect SuperPro Designer with Excel, so that excel cells will be auto-updated whenever a SuperPro unit changes.

SuperPro Designer is a process engineering simulation tool such as Aspen plus. I found a code linking Aspen plus with excel sheets and cells using the aspen.Tree.FindNode() command for each component of the Aspen file.

i was wondering whether I can use a similar approach for the SuperPro. Do all simulators follow the same mindset? Do all the units are resembled as nodes?
