Hi everyone,
Please how can I transform linear pde to code equation. The equations are in the attached file
BC:
theta(0,t) = theta(d,t) = 0
v(0, t) = v(d,t) = 0

And what is theta(z,0) and v(z,0) for 0<=z<=d ?

theta(z,0) = pi/2
v(z,0) = 0
d = 0.0002
alpha2 = -.1104,
k3 = 7.5*10^(-12)
eta2 = .1361,

Hi ,
I understand that you are trying to convert linear pde into a code equation.
You can follow the below given example to resolve the issue.
syms f(x,y) x y
eqn1=diff(f,x)
eqn1(x, y) =
eqn2=diff(diff(f,x),x)
eqn2(x, y) =
eqn3=diff(diff(f,x),y)
eqn3(x, y) =
The MATLAB function "diff" can be used to convert partial differential equations into code equations, you can refer to the above example to proceed further. For a comprehensive understanding of the "diff" function in MATLAB, please refer to the provided documentation below.
