How to input 3D image into "randomPat​chExtracti​onDatastor​e"?

The 3D image is in (x,y,z) format with a name "image3d" in a "the3dimage.mat" file. The image file names are correct in the datastore. How to define the "ReadFcn" to input the 3d image into the "transform" as well as the "randomPatchExtractionDatastore"?
