boxchart error (inputs don't match axis configuration) - error in the popcorn example

Hi all, I tried to execute the example described here: https://it.mathworks.com/help/stats/anova.boxchart.html
>> openExample('stats/BoxPlotsForTwoWayAnovaObjectExample')
I'm using Matlab r2023a. I'm getting this error and since it is part of the official documentation I do not have any idea on how to correct it.
The error:
Error using boxchart
Data inputs must match the axis configuration. A numeric axis must have numeric data inputs or data inputs which can be converted
to double.
Error in anova/boxchart (line 1057)
boxHandle = boxchart(factor1, obj.Y, chartArgs{:}, nvArgs{:});

I just found out the answer (silly me!). I'll leave the answer here for any future use:
A pre-existing figure with numerical axes was causing the problem. Solved it by opening a new figure.
