Hello Junthai,
I understand that you are trying to add the Simscape Multibody Link plugin to Solidworks 2022, and you have already added the Simscape add-on libraries in MATLAB R2013a. Here are few steps you can follow:
- Check compatibility: Check if Simscape Multibody Link is compatible with Solidworks 2022. You can check from the following website: https://www.mathworks.com/help/smlink/ug/installing-and-linking-simmechanics-link-software.html
- Install/ Update Plugin: Install or update the Simscape Multibody Link plugin.
- Enable the plugin: Refer this documentation to enable the plugin after installation: https://www.mathworks.com/help/smlink/ref/linking-and-unlinking-simmechanics-link-software-with-solidworks.html
To install the plugin:
- Get the installation files. https://www.mathworks.com/help/smlink/ug/installing-and-linking-simmechanics-link-software.html
- Run the installation files.
- Register MATLAB as an Automation Server.
- Enable the plugin in SolidWorks.
To enable the plugin:
- At the MATLAB® command prompt, enter "smlink_linksw".
- Start SolidWorks.
- On the SolidWorks menu bar, click Tools > Add-Ins.
- In the Add-Ins dialog box, select the Simscape Multibody Link check box.
- After you enable the plugin, Simscape Multibody Link option is available when you start or open a SolidWorks assembly. To export an assembly model, on the menu bar, click Tools > Simscape Multibody Link > Export > Simscape Multibody.
- If your computer has more than one copy of SolidWorks, the smlink_linksw command adds the Simscape Multibody Link plugin to all installations. However, you must select the Simscape Multibody Link check box in the Add-Ins dialog box for each installation from which you want to export CAD assembly models.
To update the plugin:
- Disable the current version by entering “smlink_unlinksw” at the MATLAB command prompt.
- Download, install, and enable the new plugin (links given above).
If this does not work and you cannot find the plugin still, consider the following steps:
- Open MATLAB and enter the command “ver” in the command window.
- You should have the Simscape Multibody installed on your computer.
- Make sure you have the necessary licenses for MATLAB, Simscape Multibody, and SolidWorks.
Hope this helps!
