How do I create a log file using MATLAB Compiler in MATLAB R2025a?

I am using MATLAB Compiler in MATLAB R2025a and Standalone Application Compiler to create a standalone application. In MATLAB R2024b and earlier, I used the "Create log file" option to create a log file for the application user. In MATLAB R2025a, I cannot find this option in Standalone Application Compiler. How can I create a log file for a standalone application in MATLAB R2025a?

The "Create log file" option that was available in Standalone Application Compiler in MATLAB R2024b and earlier was removed in MATLAB R2025a and MATLAB R2025b.

To create a log file in MATLAB R2025a or MATLAB R2025b, use the "diary" function in your MATLAB code to log Command Window text to a file. See diary - Log Command Window text to file - MATLAB in the MATLAB documentation.

In MATLAB R2026a, this feature is available as the "Runtime Log File" option in Standalone Application Compiler.
