MATLAB Runtime R2025b matlab_jenv.exe do not support Java 25

What running the following command in PowerShell or Windows command console:

C:\Program Files\MATLAB\MATLAB Runtime\R2025b\bin\win64\matlab_jenv.exe" -allusers "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-25.0.2"

I get the following response:

Java version at "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-25.0.2" not supported

Questions:

1. Is there a workaround to accept Java version 25?
2. If not when will "matlab_jenv.exe" be updated to accept Java version 25?

It is not likely that R2025b will ever be updated to support Java version 25.

It is possible that R2026a (currently still in prerelease) will support Java version 25 (not sure whether it will or not)

Unfortunately, there is currently no supported workaround to use Java version 25 with MATLAB. According to the Versions of OpenJDK Compatible with MATLAB by Release - MATLAB & Simulink documentation, the maximum supported JDK version for the relevant MATLAB releases is Java 21.

Wow…! How can I escalate this to MathWorks so they can add support for Java 25 in MATLAB R2026a or R2026b. This limitation is going to create real problems for General Dynamics Inc. and U.S. defense programs, because we are required to migrate all software to Java 25. Without official support, this becomes a blocker for compliance and ongoing development.
