How do I solve the Classpath.txt problem?

I've been trying to "simple setup' my matlab program. I run the application and the command prompt opens, but almost immediately, an error message is returned- 'cannot read classpath.txt'. How do I solve this problem?

May re-installing Matlab helps. At least this thread https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/300027-cannot-start-matlab-could-not-read-file-classpath-txt-error seems to imply it.
