if I want to evaluate the avarage distance from the midpoint of a generic trajectory would just like this ...?

I'm a student of Rome's University and I'm working to my specialist degree thesis (Biomedical Engeenering). I need technical advice! I want to evaluate the avarage distance from the midpoint of a generic trajectory and I just wrote the correct expression : Dist= 1⁄n ∑_(i=1)^n▒〖DM[i]〗 where n indicates the number of points. How can I express it with Matlab?
Thanks in advance
