RANSAC for cylinder

Hi
I'm trying to extract a cylinder in point cloud data. so I'm searching RANSAC for cylinder not a circle. Anyone has the code or ideas for that? Thank you.

If you click on the "ransac" link in the Tags section, I think some of the posts will have ideas you can use.

The question is a bit old, but it is interesting: I have never actually heard that Ransac could examine a cylinder, I know lines, planes and probably circles. But maybe it can combined with another algorithm ( I have to 🤔 which one would probably work)
