Extract data from multiple csv files

I am looking to extract certain columns of data from numerous csv files stored in a folder. I want to be able to take the data in the column I need and assign it to a variable that can be used in my script to give me my final answer/results. I need to be able to record the final answer for each file. Is there a way to loop/automate the process so that it runs for every file in the folder and records the answer at the end corresponding to the original file name?
