Webcam stream is displayed as plain orange screen. How to resolve?

I am using droidcam to stream camera feed from android mobile. The droidcam client in pc shows the stream very well. However im not getting the stream in image acquisition preview (winvideo adaptor). Just a plain orange screen is getting displayed. Any help?

if ur laptop has a webcam disable it in device manager then try droidcam it will work

Yes it works but you need to restart first

Install DroidCam on the same drive you have your OS installed. Worked for me.
Had the same problem, tried to find solution online and found only this topic which was unanswered. Hope this will help if someone has the same problem.

Have the same issue using droidcam with usb. Works fine with the droidcam client but only have an orange frame in matlab2016b. My droidcam is in the same drive than my OS by the way.
