Fitting one histogram to another

Hello!
I have a histogram (using imhist) with range x1 to x2. How may I fit it onto a second histogram (again from imhist) with range y1 to y2 such that the first histogram now has the same range as the second? Thank you!

Take a look at the imhist function.

Thank you for the tips, Chad! Could you please be a little bit more specific as to how I may enforce the ranges of the first histogram to match the second one? I have looked at imhist and histeq, but am not sure what the next step is.
